Intern Project at Red Edge Advertising Agency: Use your skillset to explain the moral foundations theory.

SOLUTION
The Moral Foundations Theory, proposed by psychologist Jonothan Haidt, is a social psychological theory intended to explain the origins of and variation in human moral reasoning. This motion graphics video highlights the fundamentals of this theory.

Considering the complexity of this theory, the objective was to create a solution that captures viewers’ attention with bold, edgy, and unpredictable graphic style.

Modern Picnic

PROJECT
This is an ad created for Modern Picnic. As a step in the interview process, applicants were instructed to make a video to be posted on the companies’ social media.

SOLUTION
Modern Picnic sells high-end lunch boxes. Their chic, sleek, and sophisticated brand inspired the stylistic choice to use a catchy tempo synced with text and picture movement. The bold and simple sans serif font coupled with a classic serif, brought the desired sophistication and modernity to the ad.
